About The Champion Rod

The Champion Rod is a mid-game rod with the following stats.

Lure Speed: 45
Luck: 65%
Control: 0.25
Resilience: 30
Max Weight Of Fish: 200,000kg

Unlike many of the Atlantis rods, the Champion Rod doesn’t have any special passive abilities, it’s just the stats that are important. Unless, of course, you really like how it looks. Then it might be worth using regardless.

The stats have had a notable buff since its introduction, with increases to its Control and Resilience. As a result, it’s now a pretty straightforward upgrade to the previously superior Arctic Rod.

How To Get The Champion Rod

You can find the Champion Rod in the entry area of Atlantis, near the large statue. Its coordinates are X -4274, Y -603, Z 1841

You gain entry to Atlantis by recovering the Heart Of Zeus and using it in Grand Reef to teleport into the sunken city. Our Fisch Atlantis guide has the full details on how to do that. Once you find it, you’ll need to but it for 80,000C$.

Notably, like its stat boosts, the Champion Rod has had a massive price reduction from 1,000,000C$ at release to a much more modest 80,000C$. This makes acquiring it a much more viable tactic for rod progression than before, as it’s relatively cheap.
