With the latest updates the class numbers keep growing, but all classes are not equal. Some are good, some are great. So what’s the best? That’s what we’re here to talk about in our Dead Rails best class guide.

If you want to go straight to Dead Rails, head to Roblox. If you’re interested in a more in-depth coverage of the classes, maybe try out our Dead Rails Priest class guide, Dead Rails Conductor class guide, or our Dead Rails Vampire guide.

Dead Rails Best Class Guide

We didn’t want to just give you one class, so we’ve decided to split the best class into ‘best early game’ and ‘best overall’. This means you can make your choices based on your available Bonds.

Best Overall Class

In our opinion, the best overall class is the Vampire. This class is expensive and does come with the marked disadvantage of gradual HP damage when exposed to sunlight. Even despite this, the ridiculous speed boost of the Vampire, combined with the life-stealing melee weapon, makes it still a great investment.

You can outrun a sprinting zombie and even a horse, as a vampire. This allows you to escape most threats, and at night, you become an absolute monster in terms of fighting ability.

Best Early Game Class

While the Vampire might be best overall, if you’re short on Bonds, then a much cheaper but still great fallback is the Doctor. This class spawns in with some great starting equipment that allows healing and enhances your abilities. Along with this, the Doctor really shines in groups, with the special ability that lets you resurrect fallen players by sacrificing health. Great to make sure all your buddies make it to the end.

At a very reasonable 15 Bonds to buy, there’s no reason to dislike this class.
