Dwarfs in Exile Is a New Text-Based Multiplayer Management Game, Now Out
Dwarfs in Exile is a new game that just dropped on Android. Made by an indie developer, it’s a text-based multiplayer management game. It’s been a browser game for some time now and is now exclusively available on the Play Store.
What’s the Story?
It’s about citizens who have been banished by the Dwarfen King to the forbidden lands. As one of them, you’re stuck in a dangerous place, trying to keep a bunch of grumpy little dwarfs alive while building a thriving settlement.
You get control over an entire dwarfen settlement and its inhabitants. Your job is to assign work to your dwarfs, gather resources, craft tools and keep levelling up your settlement so it can house more residents.
But don’t let your settlement get full. Otherwise, no new dwarfs will join, even if you win quests that are supposed to reward you with more recruits.
Every dwarf in your settlement has their own inherent stats, like perception, strength, etc. These stats determine how good they are at their jobs. So, you have to pair their stats with the right equipment to maximize productivity.
Dwarfs in Exile has a whole system of occupations. Your dwarfs can be miners, crafters, and so on. You can also assign child dwarfs to a mentor so they can learn the ropes and level up their stats faster. Just keep in mind, the kids won’t work until they hit 20 years old!
How Do You Get More Dwarfs in Exile?
Completing quests is one way, but you can also hire them with coins. Keep your food stocks up, else your dwarfs can starve. And when a dwarf dies, their gear goes back into your inventory, which is great.
There are tons of other features in this management game which is quite fun exploring. If it sounds interesting to you, check it out on the Google Play Store.
